Learning Design Micro Grants
The Learning Design Micro Grants are to support online course improvement efforts by John Jay College faculty during one semester.
The goal of this program is to ease the implementation of small scale, immediate enhancements that improve the learning experience of online students at the course-level. Faculty who receive the grant will collaborate with the instructional design team in the Department of Online Education and Support (DOES), meeting at least two times per month over a 12-week time frame, to develop or redesign an online course that incorporates best practices in online education.
Payment will be paid at the successful completion of the grant requirements of:
- effectively collaborating with the instructional designer 6 times over 3 months, and
- the successful re-design/development of the online course.
