Online Accessibility

Recently accessibility has become a legal responsibility in higher education, recommending faculty to design accessible courses for those with vision, hearing, and other disabilities. Universal design for learning (UDL) is a teaching approach that works to accommodate the needs and abilities of all learners, eliminates unnecessary barriers in the learning process and enhance an inclusive learning environment. This means developing a flexible learning environment in which information is presented in multiple ways and students are provided options to demonstrate their  learning.
